Wow! I’m hearing from lots of people who are losing access to their fan pages because they, or someone else, delete the only admin. How crazy that Facebook allows people to do that…what were they thinking!
You Must Have More Than One Admin
PLEASE make sure you have at least 2 admins for your fan page BEFORE you start changing any settings, etc… If you only have one admin (typically you) and you accidentally delete that admin…your fan page will go into a black hole and you will lose access to it. And, at this time I don’t know of a way that you can retrieve your fan page or contact Facebook about the problem.
Be Careful Who You Make an Admin of Your Fan Page
If you add an admin to your fan page to protect against the above, make sure the 2nd admin is someone you trust entirely! The reason being because once they are an admin, they will be able to remove you as an admin…either accidentally or on purpose.
